Cant get enough, creative delicious food - You found the place empty because they were just in the transition from a coffee shop to a restaurant. Now they have a full delicious menu, I eat dinner here every week. Try beet salad, rice with nuts and raisins, cacik or borek, I cant get enough, food is very creative. The person who wrote "hole in the wall..." review was stalking one of the personnel and made customers and people who work there feel very uncomfortable.
Hole in the Wall that Needs to be Revamped - I visited Cafe Mola expecting a quaint coffee shop, but I was disappointed to find that the cafe is entirely void of decoration. Although this restaurant is BYOB, it would be difficult to find someone willing to sit among the bare red walls of this cafe. The Turkish menu items sound fresh and might be worth trying for take out, but the only food within eyesight was a couple of muffins and keskul, Turkish pudding. In addition, the cappuccino was bland. However, Cafe Mola is open until 11 p.m. if you're craving coffee past the closing time of other neighborhood coffee shops.
