A Diva-fabulous way of life for all New York City moms - Divalysscious Moms. Founded in the fall of 2004, Elyssa Stern started this organization after the birth of her son, Jackson, and after recognizing the need for creating a much needed fashionable and extraordinary outlet for all new mothers. The concept for Divalysscious Moms was born out of her own personal need to be social with other moms, while spending time and sharing new experiences with a newborn.
As a new mother looking for ways to take advantage of all the wonderful cultural and social events this city has to offer, she realized that not many day spas, movie premieres, department stores and cooking classes were baby friendly. She wanted to do her part to make sure the daunting words "NO STROLLERS ALLOWED" is never uttered in places like that any longer. Mothers also want to keep in touch with their "Sex and the City" side after their children are born, which is a feeling I think many mothers in New York can share.
Divalysscious Moms is a luxury lifestyle company for mothers and their children in New York City, providing them with the best of fashion, fitness, nutrition, educational and entertainment events. At our events our members mingle with other moms, attend private shopping and makeover breakfasts at shops like Henri Bendel and Barneys New York, at discounted prices, they often have a chance to win an incredible raffle and they always go home with the best ‘gift bags’. Divalysscious Moms also hosts fundraisers for time-sensitive and family oriented causes like the Red Cross Tsunami relief function where we helped to successfully raise $10,000 for victims of the 2004 Tsunami.
In a short time, we have been able to experience many of the privileges New York City has to offer. For example, we have organized events at various locations such as FAO Schwarz, Barneys New York, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Bulgari and Henri Bendel. Divalysscious Moms brings to its members the best of nutrition, beauty, health, fitness, shopping, and educational and entertaining events. Divalysscious Moms plans many wonderful events such as, Moms On Madison with COOKIE magazine.
