A basic Upper East Side Irish pub

Dylan Murphy's is modeled after the "Irish bar" in the neighborhood tradition. You're always welcomed with a warm smile and hello from the friendly Irish bartenders who never forget a face or a name. Feel at home in your bar away from home.

Situated on 3rd Avenue between 82nd & 83rd Streets, the bar provides an atmosphere that's sophisticated, yet comfortable: with a brick-exposed bar wall, beautiful oak bar and booth seating. A wide range of specialty beers are served year-round. Drafts are poured in a proper 20 ounce glass ... a real Irish pint! There's a full bar menu being served upstairs as well as in "The Nook", the intimate downstairs bar.

	Awesome place! - I visited a good friend who DJ's here and loved the set-up and energy of this pub! I was there during the day and night (No, I'm notta lush!)and the music was bumping/awesome!! Service was great and it was good times all around! I'll definitely return the next time I am in town!

	Real, traditional neighborhood bar. - I've been to this bar a few times now and it's really grown on me. It has the feel of a traditional, "neighborhoody" bar: it's unpretentious, the bartenders are really friendly, you see a lot of regulars, it's comfortable. The only thing that made me leave yesterday was we were hungry so we left to get something to eat. I hope they add a food menu soon, and then it'll feel like home.

	Pretty Good Happy Hour - Good clean bar with a lot of TVs. Decent happy hour specials - including $4 well drinks. Good, attentive bartender. The Happy hour crowd last night (Friday) picked up between 6:30pm and 7pm.
