Eli's Bread At Vinegar Factory

	A Touch of Zabar's on the Far Northeast UES - Although the selection isn't as extensive as Zabar's store on the West side, Eli's is still a gourmand's heaven. Looking for foie gras medallions? You'll find them here. The store's merchandise includes a mouthwatering collection of Eli's homemade soups, pre-made entree items like lasagna, desserts (which are disappointingly lacking in flavor), olives and pickles, cheeses, a butcher shop, a fish market, candy, and a small selection of refrigerated and frozen basics. Some of the beautifully fresh produce is grown on the vinegar factory's roof. There is an especially comprehensive selection of fine olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Those wishing to buy processed foods from major brands will find that they cannot do all of their grocery shopping at Eli's. Once you've made your purchases, you can enjoy them at Eli's adjoining cafe, which sells brick oven pizzas and other items. Eli's upstairs restaurant is open on the weekends for brunch and features an all-you-can-eat salad barrel.
