	Skip Sarabeth’s- Opt for French Flavor - This french bistro, formerly Bistro du Nord, sits across the street from brunch haven Sarabeth’s, but it exudes a lot more charm and is certainly less crowded. During warm months you may be lucky enough to enjoy people watching at one of the two tables looking out onto the sidewalk of Madison. Downstairs feels like an authentic french brasserie with a gleaming wooden bar. Upstairs, the décor is a bit more formal and modern, but still enjoyably chic. The food is as pleasing as the atmosphere, with French basics such as crepes prepared just right. Especially alluring is the prix fixe brunch special- a drink (including alcohol), dish, and dessert for $17.95. Service is friendly and accomodating.
