	Merrion Square- Where Less is Actually Merrier - If you’re looking for a well-kept and remarkably uncrowded bar in which to watch the game or grab a drink with a date or a few friends, look no further than Merrion Square. The music at this Irish pub is a mix of nineties and aughts alternative rock played softly enough not to distract you from your intimate conversations. Merrion Square has great Happy Hour specials. On Monday’s through Fridays from 10:30 am to 7:00 p.m., all domestic bottles are $3.00, import bottles are $3.50, and drafts, well liquor, and wine are $4.00. The small bar menu includes not only the standard bar appetizers, but also pub classics like burgers, chicken curry, and shepherd’s pie. There’s even a jukebox and a pool table. The owner and bartenders are friendly, and if you come back, they’ll make every effort to remember your name.
