A classic local Upper East Side bar where you will have a pleasant experience every time.
Murphy's Law is a quaint Upper East Side bar with a pub-style atmosphere that harkens to the tradition of Ireland's public houses. The bar dates back to the time of prohibition, when patrons would risk the wrath of the law for a pint of Murphy's tasty brews.
Located by three area hospitals, Murphy's Law has become a favorite local spot for doctors and medical staff as one can see from the daily happy hour crowds in the front bar. Happy hour runs daily from 4pm-7pm.
The rear dining area is cozy, warm and inviting with painted murals on the walls depicting the Irish countryside. The restaurant serves seven days a week, with full lunch, dinner and brunch (served Saturdays and Sundays) menus. House specials are served daily.
The kitchen boasts delicious hot wings and one of the best burgers in the neighborhood. There are weekly nightly specials, including Monday night's "Burger and a Beer", and Sunday's Brunch special.

Best Irish Bar ( - VickiJ rates it 10 out of 10) - This is easily my favourite bar in this area. Very near the hospital I work, and most of the staff eat there on occasion. Great menu, food is always good. Bartenders are excellent (and hot!)
