I founded Uppereast.com back in 1999. The main reason was, at that time, I was unable to find truly hyperlocal information about businesses and other happenings in my neighborhood. I wanted to be able to find detailed information about what was going on right around me. Today, still, this vision is only partially realized by Uppereast.com and not even approached by other competitors. We will continue to strive to make valuable hyperlocal information about businesses and other local happenings available to our local Upper East Side users. We will do this by engaging personally with local businesses, showing them how to use the new platform we have created to create and post great informative content about their businesses to make it available to local people ... so that the true uniqueness of their businesses can be communicated cost effectively.
