Glaser's: Baked Goods with Vintage Charm and Prices

- Glaser’s is an old-school bakery that retains its vintage sign and vintage charm. The interior of the bakery looks like it hasn’t been remodeled since the 1950’s. This isn’t a bakery known for the ubiquitous icing slathered cupcakes, but rather, classic sweets such as mini-size classic lemon meringue cakes, some of the best black and white cookies in Manhattan, plum tarts, éclairs, turnovers, sheet cake, and a variety of danishes. It’s cash only, but the shockingly cheap prices won’t bust your wallet.
