Taco Taco: Tantalizing tacos and alluring atmosphere
Overall:
- This is a casual yet festive Mexican spot with bright colors, lively music, and candelight. During the summer, if you’re lucky, you can secure one of the coveted few outdoor tables. The service is not exceptional, but adequate. The fresh Mexican food is the standout here. The expansive menu and daily specials include everything from fajitas to scallop tacos to chorizo burritos. The food is fresh and bursting with flavor. The drinks could be better, but they are reasonably priced. Delivery food is not as spot-on as the food served in the restaurant. It’s difficult to find better Mexican food in the UES, not to mention, all of NYC.
