- Eleni's is home to the perfectly decorated, kitschy, customizable cookie. Unfortunately the cookies fall short on flavor. A chocolate chip cookie has a cardboard taste and a consistency that is in that in-between spot of neither soft and chewy nor deliciously crunchy. The sugar cookies share the same cardboard taste; they simply do not taste sugary and the icing is flavorless. The cupcakes are Eleni's only saving grace; they actually have flavor and the icing is light, whipped and sweet. The vanilla on vanilla cupcake tastes like a Twinkie. If you plan to visit Eleni's during the summer, be prepared for the shortened summer hours- Eleni's closes at 6 p.m. on weekdays and is frequently closed on summer weekends.
